The EnterNext Tech Conference takes place in Paris on December 8 at the Espace Saint-Martin, bringing together European technology startups, investors, and media to address the issues of financing and IPOs in the tech sector across the continent.
Throughout the day-long event, attendees will look at key topics like the state of the tech industry in Europe, expanding into international markets, and the success factors of an IPO.
French Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron will be in attendance among a host of other government representatives, banks, incubators, angel investors, VCs, analysts, and advisors.
EnterNext is a subsidiary of the Euronext stock exchange in Paris, Brussels, Lisbon and Amsterdam. The organisation runs several initiatives to aid and grow small and medium-sized tech businesses and entrepreneurs, to secure financing and list on the markets. Euronext is currently Europe’s top marketplace for technology company stock listings.
Some of the European tech companies that have filed IPOs on the marketplace include veteran French tech firms like video compression software company Ateme and automotive and UAV specialist Parrot. Most recently, Technofirst, which manufactures products that protect against acoustic and vibration nuisance, and Showroomprive.com, an innovative and rapidly-growing online fashion retailer, listed on the Paris market.
The organisation also publishes Morningstar quantitative equity reports that analyse 330 tech companies listed in Paris, Brussels, London, and Amsterdam, and points out the latest trends in different sectors such as increases in acquisitions or valuations.
The EnterNext conference complements this work by welcoming delegates to network and discuss issues and challenges facing the industry and market.
In Paris, EnterNext’s agenda for the day is split into two sessions. The morning session will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions from tech CEOs and experts on future tech trends in the European market, and attracting international investors.
The afternoon session will involve two workshops for both non-listed and listed tech companies, ‘Key information for a successful IPO’ and ‘Boosting the attractiveness of a Tech stock’, as well as an Investor Forum dedicated to companies in the Tech40 label with institutional investors.
Registration for the EnterNext Tech Conference is open here.
