London startup Tapdaq, which helps mobile application developers and publishers increase reach and revenue with a proprietary cross-promotion platform for apps, has raised $6.5 million in funding.

The company's CEO, Ted Nash, shared the news on Twitter:

According to Sky News, the investors in the Series A round include prior backers Balderton Capital and Open Ocean Capital, but also the newly established UK VC fund BGF Ventures and Spring Partners.

Tapdaq previously raised $1.4 million.
