Paris-based email management software startup Evercontact has been acquired by US firm One More Company, which has also received an investment from AXA Strategic Ventures and Aurinvest.
The companies declined to disclose any figures on the acquisition or investment.
Under the deal, Evercontact will continue as a standalone service but will help One More Company in its plans to scale with the addition of its technical team and its patents, said One More Company CEO and cofounder Florian Seroussi.
One More Company, which launched just over a year ago, is also behind email ID and tracking services Sende.rs and Trackbuster.
Together the three products will have 100,000 active users and process an average of 3.5 million emails a day. New York will remain One More Company’s headquarters with Evercontact’s Paris office serving as its European base.
“The addition of Evercontact’s intellectual property, customers and technical team, means executing on our vision sooner, by enriching the level of expertise that is working day-to-day on our mobile-oriented email-intelligence and information-management solutions that improve the lives of businesses and consumers,” said Seroussi.
“By acquiring Evercontact, another fast moving, earlier player in the sector, the company is accelerating their timetable dramatically, and far sooner than anticipated,” said Geoffroy Bragadir, managing partner at Aurinvest.
