Privateaser, a French event space booking platform, has raised €3 million from Parisian VC fund ISAI.
The startup, founded in 2014, allows users to book venues like bars and restaurants for hosting events. It has around 600,000 users with 400,000 users and 500 companies in 2016 alone.
Privateaser’s platform is free for users to book places for their events with the company earning money by charging the venue.
The funding will help the startup accelerate its development and customer experience, according to CEO Nicolas Furlani. Privateaser plans to extend its service to the rest of France and begin testing its platform in Spain in the near future. It also intends to hire 50 new people over the next two years.
The French startup previously raised a €500,000 seed round earlier this year, led by Kerala Ventures.
