Primo raises $8M to bring autonomous AI agents to IT operations

Primo, an AI platform for managing corporate IT, has raised $8 million in a funding round led by Headline and Global Founders Capital. The company’s investors also include Pennylane co-founder and CEO Arthur Waller and Pigment co-founder and CEO Romain Niccoli.

Primo centralises device management, SaaS applications, identity and IT support on a single platform. It is targeting the fragmented systems used by corporate IT teams, which often rely on separate tools to manage devices, software applications and support requests.

By bringing these functions together, Primo gives its AI agents access to information about employees, devices, applications, permissions and internal policies, as well as the integrations needed to take action across different systems. The agents are designed to handle repetitive and time-consuming IT processes from end to end.

For example, Primo’s agents can automate onboarding and offboarding, from ordering hardware and assigning software access to revoking permissions when employees leave. Companies can control which actions run automatically or require human approval, with full traceability.

IT has always been seen as a cost center that companies simply endure. We are building the opposite: a platform where IT becomes a lever, and where AI agents handle the repetitive work while teams focus on what matters. This funding round allows us to take the next step: enabling our customers to deploy AI agents that execute these processes end to end, with all the traceability and control they require,

said Martin Pannier, co-founder and CEO of Primo.

Primo has more than 400 customers across 10 countries, including ASL Airlines and Attio. The company says its revenue has quadrupled year over year and recently surpassed $4 million in annual recurring revenue.

Primo will use the new funding to support hiring, further develop its AI capabilities and accelerate its international expansion. The company plans to double its headcount in the coming months and continue expanding in markets where it is already established, including the UK, Germany, Benelux and the Nordics. International customers currently account for more than half of its customer base.
