Israeli-American air quality company BreezoMeter raises $3 million

Israeli-American air quality analytics provider BreezoMeter has raised $3 million in series A funding in a round led by Phi Square Holdings, as well as Entrée Capital, Launchpad Digital Health and SeediL.

Israeli-American air quality analytics provider BreezoMeter has raised $3 million in series A funding in a round led by Phi Square Holdings, and including Entrée Capital, Launchpad Digital Health and SeediL.

Founded in 2014 by Ran Korber, BreezoMeter provides air quality analysis and data in over 25 countries worldwide, with the end goal of improving the health and quality of life of people, businesses and cities.

BreezoMeter's analyses include pollutant concentrations and forecast, and are derived from governmental sensors, satellites, weather patterns, transportation dynamics and other sources. The company offers its services via API to businesses ranging from smart home technology, fitness, cosmetics, and car companies, to health technology brands.

The firm plans on using the funding to broaden its international reach, expand to new markets and launch new products in 2017.
