Israeli-American company Dynamic Yield, a customer engagement platform that allows online businesses to personalize customer experiences, has raised $22 million in a Series C funding round. The new investment came from Vertex and ClalTech, with participation from Baidu and Global Founders Capital, as well as previous investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Marker LLP and Innovation Endeavors.
The funds will help Dynamic Yield to expand its product's reach internationally.
The company's AI technology allows websites to enhance their marketing by automatically customizing according to customer profiles. Dynamic Yield offers personalization, recommendations, automatic optimization and 1:1 messaging as part of its services.
“Personalization is all about communication and relevancy," Dynamic Yield CEO Liad Agmon said in a statement quoted by Globes. "As a consumer, I react much better to marketing communication that addresses who I am, my current interest and my current state of mind. We are finally at a stage where machine learning and AI allow product and marketing teams to build such experiences that are uniquely relevant to an individual, and we are super excited to lead the pack with the technology and solutions we built around it. 50% of our company is in Product, Engineering & Data Science and we are committed to continuous innovation.”
