Other participants in the round include Accel, BlaBlaCar cofounder Nicolas Brusson, PriceMinister cofounder Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, and German CEO of private clinic group CIP Gruppe Ludwig Klitzsch.
Doctolib’s SaaS solution, which uses a subscription model, has been designed for doctors and clinics to manage bookings and reduce costs incurred by no-shows. On the patient side of the service, which is free, users can see what doctors are available and make a booking.
Doctolib has raised a total of €50 million to date. This new round of money will be used to expand the platform’s reach beyond the French market by hiring 150 new people this year. It’s already launched in Berlin and plans to launch in Cologne, Hamburg, and Munich later this year.
Currently 17,000 doctors and 435 medical businesses are using the platform with six million monthly visitors, according to the company.
