London-based Carwow, an online car marketplace, has raised £30 million in Series C funding. The round was led by Virtuvian Partners, with participation from previous investors Accel Partners and Balderton Capital. The company has raised a total of £48 million to date.
The online marketplace allows customers to search for cars by their make and model, provides reviews, and gives information regarding how much a particular car should cost. The company says the new funding will be used to improve its services, launch marketing campaigns, and expand internationally.
Since it's launch in 2013, Carwow says it has sold £2 billion of new cars through its platform.
