Electronic signature startup Yousign raises €3 million in new funds

French e-signature startup Yousign has raised €3 million from Bpifrance, Alto Invest, Normandy Participations, and NFactory.

Yousign develops solutions for electronically signing agreements and contracts and has 1,500 customers. In its native France, e-signatures have been officially recognised since 2000 but companies are still not using them on a widespread scale.

The new funds will be invested in bolstering Yousign’s presence around Europe and employing new staff in its tech and business divisions.

“For us, this fundraising event is the starting point for a new phase. It is a real accelerator that will allow us to hire, about twenty people this year, technical, sales and marketing profiles,” said a spokesperson for the company.

“We will also be able to step up our development, especially on the Large Enterprise target with our new product: Yousign Corporate, especially launched for them. At last, this sum of money will enable us to structure the company for a European launch at the end of the year.”
