Paris-based artificial intelligence startup Another Brain has raised €10 million from a number of European, American, and Chinese investors: Alpha Intelligence Capital, Daphni, Global Founders Capital, Cathay Capital, and Aglae Ventures.
The company, founded just a year ago, develops AI-enabled chips for autonomous learning, which it says is inspired by the way the cerebral cortex in the human brain functions.
According to a spokesperson, the new funds will be invested in further product development and expanding its team. It is targeting its solutions at sectors like automotive for autonomous and assisted driving and industrial robotics as well as the broader the internet of things space and in medicine.
The company added that its tech complies with the GDPR regulations that come into force in May.
