The new.New Festival, the tech conference run by innovation hub CODE_n, is returning this October 8-10, taking place in Stuttgart, Germany.
New.New Festival is where startups, digital innovators, and stakeholders will convene and is headlined by the CODE_n startup contest. Applications for the competition are open until May 13 for any and all startups with digital business models to take part.
Fifty applicants will be chosen for the contest taking place at the festival where they will compete and present their businesses to an international audience of potential customers and investors. Afterwards 10 startups will be chosen for the finals.
There will be prizes worth €30,000 up for grabs in the categories of Best Business Model, Best Tech Innovation, and Industry Disruptor with one overall winner crowned at the award show of the festival.
The year’s edition of the festival is themed Intelligence X.0 and is focusing on artificial intelligence with three subthemes: Beyond Reality, Machine Intelligence, and Cryptographic Trust. The prize is open to any startups, whether it’s B2B or B2C, with a novel and innovative product or a new approach to an established industry.
Over the three days, attendees will be able to participate in workshops and networking events to build bridges and connections with other stakeholders. Speakers for the event will be announced soon.
“We don’t just scratch the surface at the festival – we really dive deep. Our aim is to ‘explore the DNA of digital innovation.’ For us, this means a threefold approach which involves using cutting-edge technologies, applying a multi-industry mindset, and taking human factors into account,” said Ulrich Dietz, founder initiator of CODE_n. “Anyone who wants to position a company to thrive in the future has to be willing to blaze new trails. Digital transformation offers enormous opportunities to do just that.”
The event takes place in Stuttgart, the capital city of Baden-Württemberg, which Winfried Kretschmann, Minister-President of the state, describes as a “cradle of innovation” for the region.
