Paris-based enterprise-focused cybersecurity startup Acorus Networks has landed a €5 million funding round from Elaia Partners, Partech and Kima Ventures. The startup, which specialises on protection against DDoS attacks, will use the money to grow its technical team and hire a head of sales.
Founded in 2014 by Benjamin Schilz and Raphael Maunier, Acorus has built an infrastructure that supposedly can effectively resist both web and network DDoS attacks. Its customers include hosting services, e-commerce sites, media companies, carriers, banks, governments, and healthcare companies.
