France's Jobijoba acquires recruitment chatbot startup JAI

Paris-based recruitment solutions company Jobijoba has acquired JAI (The Jobs Artificial Intelligence), a startup that develops chatbot technologies for recruiters. Jobijoba plans to integrate JAI's product into its offering.

JAI's pre-trained chatbot is there to talk to handle the first contact with an applicant, asking the usual questions and replying to whatever the candidate has to ask. Thanks to the technology developed by Jobijoba, it's now also possible to upload CV through the bot, which would analyse it in real time and suggest suitable positions.

Mazars, a French-founded global auditing company, is said to be the first customer of the new combined solution. The chatbot powered by the tech of Jobijoba and JAI will start working on the company's website in March.

Jobijoba has been working closely with JAI for a while. In July 2018, Jobijoba was acquired by HelloWork, a French HR corporate, while JAI participated in the HelloWork Start acceleration programme.
