The Creators Community, a network of coworking spaces with sites in Oslo and Copenhagen, has raised €4.1 million (NOK40 million) in funding from “tech and real estate investors” to fuel its further expansion. The company plans to open new locations in Trondheim — with a local startup hub DIGS — and Copenhagen in April.
The Creators Community was founded in 2016 as a result of the merger of Copenhagen-based Founders House and Oslo-based Mesh. It positions itself as the workspace for “growth companies, investors, entrepreneurs, digital artists, and technologists,” the company's CEO Tine Thygesen stated in a post.
The total size of the spaces managed by The Creators Community, including the ones to open in April, is 24,000 m². The company currently employs some 100 people.
