Amsterdam-based car repair startup Fixico lands €7 million

Dutch online platform for car damage repair Fixico has secured €7 million in funding from Silicon Valley-based Autotech Ventures, with participation from existing investors Laurens Groenendijk and Orange Growth Capital. This round brings the total amount raised by Fixico to €14.3 million.

The startup currently operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and South Africa, and works with a network of more than 2,000 repair shops. Started as a two-sided marketplace between consumers and body shops, the company has also become an end-to-end platform that works with fleet owners and insurers.

“We offer an innovative and fully digital way to handle car damage repairs,” said Derk Roodhuyzen de Vries, CEO of Fixico. “Fleet and insurance partners use our platform as an intelligent repair tendering/steering mechanism, to lower costs and cycle times and gain real-time insights.”
