iCIMS buys Dublin-based HR tech startup Opening.io; terms undisclosed

American cloud recruiting platform provider iCIMS has acquired Opening.io, a Dublin, Ireland-based data science / HR tech startup that has built a nifty talent recommendation engine.

"We are elated to join iCIMS and drive further AI innovation that delivers tremendous value to customers," said Andreea Wade, Opening.io’s co-founder and CEO. "Together we simplify the discovery of jobs and talent, predict the best talent fit, and uncover crucial insights from billions of points of talent and jobs data."

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Coinciding with the news, iCIMS has announced the debut of its Talent Logic product, a new AI solution partly powered by Opening.io tech that 'delivers speed and precision for building transformative, diverse workforces at scale'. The company says it will enable recruitment and hiring managers to find and hire candidates faster and more efficiently.
