Belgian SaaS startup EMAsphere gets €2.5 million to expand in Europe

Belgian startup EMAsphere has raised €2.5 million, from Sambrinvest and Luxembourg's Dedicated Venture Capital, to continue expanding its B2B SaaS platform, which collects a company’s financial data and customer information in one place. Co-CEO Didier Vankeerberghen says monthly recurring revenue has increased by 90 percent in the past year. That revenue comes from over 8,000 customers, mainly in the Benelux, but also in France and the United Kingdom. Partners such as PwC and BDO also sell the EMAsphere software to their customers, and these indirect sales account for 30 percent of the business so far.

Founded in 2015, the company previously raised a €4.5 million round in 2018. Its 55 employees are spread across a Walloon headquarters, a Ghent office and a small office in France. With the new investment, the plan is to expand abroad, focussing on France first, and to make the product even more integration-friendly, specifically for CRMs and ERPs.
