Spicing it up beyond digitisation of HR, Spanish startup tosses in €10 million

Spanish HR tech startup Sesame HR has raised €10 million funding to improve customisation and people analytics’ offerings. The Series A round was led by growth equity firm PSG. The new capital will be utilised to drive the company’s international presence.

The new-age HR platform is streamlining processes related to centralised employee management on a single platform. Through a series of tools and automation options, it helps managers, executives and HR professionals to digitise and simplify the most routine tasks so that they can spend more time and effort building the best experience possible for their employees.

The platform will expand the people analytics ecosystem by applying AI to help companies better understand their employees and create fully personalised work experiences.

Talking about how people's culture needs to transform, Albert Soriano, founder and CEO, Sesame said: “The new reality in the world of work is complex and the speed at which the changes come is overwhelming for many HR teams. So in addition to digitising and automating the management of teams, it is necessary to focus on the development of solutions that facilitate the transmission of company culture and to improve the employee experience.”
