We are kicking off the first-ever Tech.eu Summit in Brussels in just a few weeks. It’s the perfect opportunity to shake off those online-event cobwebs and hear directly from a stellar line-up of over 90 speakers, including a stable of unicorn founders and some of the most influential and important investors in Europe.
One of the hot topics on the main stage is international scaling-up, and the essentials that startups need to know before tackling new markets. Cracking new countries can be rife with expensive pitfalls and expansion strategies are rarely “one-size-fits-all even within European markets.
To set our audience on the right path, we’ve got three awesome panelists teed up to share their expansion experiences, and answer questions on everything from how best to do your homework on new markets, to big traps to avoid along the way. Of course, we’ll be grilling them on what they wish they had known themselves before going abroad — between them they have years of global know-how.
So, who’s up? We have Rodolphe Ardant, co-founder and CEO of fresh fintech unicorn Spendesk, TWINO CEO, Anastasija Oleinika, and Samuel Mueller, the co-founder and CEO of Swiss unicorn Scandit.
One of the most influential women in tech, Anastasija has appeared in Forbes #30under30 and #40under40 lists. For the past four years, she’s been the chief executive of the TWINO Group, which offers investment brokerage and non-bank lending services spanning Europe and beyond.
Rodolphe (we can call him Rod) is the co-founder and CEO of unicorn Spendesk, the Paris-based expenses management platform used by more than 3,500 businesses. Rod says he is a builder at heart; he started his first company right after graduation, and was COO of Drivy, before getting back to building with eFounders and Spendesk.
