Swiss SaaS startup Strong Network has raised €5.1 million to expedite its roll out in Europe and the U.S. The round was led by OpenOcean, and joined by Wingman Ventures.
The platform enables companies to protect against the ever-growing threat of source code, data and credential theft, and improve the efficiency of IT infrastructure processes leading to significant cost reduction.
Dr. Laurent Balmelli, co-founder of Strong Network said: “With the world being distributed, developers environment need to adapt accordingly toward better provisioning efficiency and security. With our platform, companies can quickly onboard any developer, internal and external, and provide them with fully installed development environments, aka workspaces. These workspaces are equipped with security mechanisms that protect organisations' source code, data and all credentials and cryptographic keys. This can be especially important when those developers are offshore or temporary.”
Patrik Backman, general partner at OpenOcean added: “The platform solves a huge and growing pain point for companies trying to adopt a remote and hybrid working model and making use of the best talent all over the world without jeopardising their IP or their agility.”
