eToro has acquired Lisbon-based Bullsheet, a provider of portfolio management tools designed exclusively for eToro users. The purchase price remains undisclosed.

After joining the eToro platform in 2020, cousins Filipe Sommer and João Ramalho Carlos decided to build a better mousetrap to lay atop what eToro had on tap. Just a year later the duo launched Bullsheet. The service provides portfolio management tools that enable users to analyse the diversification of their portfolio alongside a host of additional tools designed to make the most of the eToro platform.

“The Bullsheet story is a great example of the talent and passion within eToro’s global community. It’s the wisdom of the crowd in action,” commented eToro co-founder and CEO Yoni Assia. “We believe there is a power in shared knowledge and that by transforming investing into a group effort we yield better results and become more successful together.”

As part of the acquisition, Filipe and João will join the eToro product development team.

“João and I joined eToro to be part of a community. It was the collaborative mindset of eToro, including the ability to copy other investors that really attracted us to the platform,” said Sommer.  “eToro gave us the ability to interact with millions of investors from around the world. We all share the same goal - we want to learn about the financial markets and become better investors together.”
