Fintech collects almost 40% of last week's €672M invested in European tech

Last week, we tracked more than 80 tech funding deals worth over €672 million, and over 15 exits, M&A transactions, rumours, and related news stories across Europe.

Almost 40 per cent of total investments went to fintech companies last week. These are some of the deals worth mentioning:

  • Flagstone, a cash deposit platform enabling savers to spread their deposits across hundreds of accounts with a single application, secured £108 million equity investment from Estancia Capital Partners
  • Griffin's collected $24 million in fresh funding which will be used to satisfy regulatory capital requirements as well as build up its services for its clients
  • Naro, which helps companies create their own investment products such as ETFs and index and money market funds without any operational or regulatory burden, closed $3 million pre-seed round
