Oxford-based climate tech Dendra Systems has secured $15.76M in Series B Funding to develop its ecology platform which uses AI and drones to restore and rehabilitate huge swathes of land by reseeding.
They have completed successful restorations across arid, tropical and coastal environments, from desert ecosystems to mangrove forests.
Dendra Systems work with a number of major mining companies to restore land, including in the UAE where Dendra is supporting the UAE’s goal to restore 100 Million Mangroves by 2030 by analysing 20,000 hectares of coastal habitat.
The company provides an end-to-end RestorationOSTM solution to restore nature, powered by high-resolution data capture and drone-based seeding, and a comprehensive AI-enabled ecosystem insights platform. Dendra's innovative approach is able to achieve targeted, rapid deployment of restoration efforts at scale, in addition to ongoing monitoring, management and reporting for the duration of multi-year projects.
