frontline.io secures $10M to expand industrial XR and AI platform

frontline.io, a no-code platform that blends Extended Reality (XR) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for industrial training and support, has raised $10M in a Series A funding round.

The round was led by FIT Ventures and Click Bond, with the capital aimed at accelerating the company’s expansion in the U.S. and Europe, as well as further developing its R&D capabilities.

The investment comes amid rising demand for XR and AI technologies in the industrial sector, particularly in the training, maintenance, and operation of complex machinery. With labour shortages and increasing technical complexity putting pressure on industrial workforces, many organisations are turning to immersive technologies and intelligent automation to fill the gap.

frontline.io turns traditional 3D CAD files into interactive digital twins, delivering immersive, step-by-step procedures that can be accessed across devices—from smartphones and laptops to augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) headsets. The no-code approach allows industrial companies to create and scale support tools quickly, without requiring technical expertise or external development.

“This funding marks a critical milestone in our journey,” said Itzhak Pichadze, CEO of frontline.io. “By combining XR and AI in a single, unified platform, we’re helping industrial companies transform how they operate in the field. With the backing of FIT Ventures and Click Bond, we’re ready to take the next leap forward.”

The platform also offers remote assistance features and AI-driven insights that help teams reduce downtime, standardise processes, and improve performance in the field. Clients already using frontline.io include enterprise adopters such as HP Inc. and Stratasys, both known for integrating XR and AI into their operations.

“frontline.io is one of the most promising industrial tech companies we’ve seen,” said David Baazov, Founding Partner at FIT Ventures. “It’s solving real operational pain points at scale by blending cutting-edge XR with AI, and we believe it is poised to lead this market globally.”

As a strategic investor, Click Bond brings industry validation to the platform’s potential in real-world applications. The U.S.-based company, known for its adhesive-bonded fasteners and aerospace assembly solutions, views frontline.io as a key player in advancing industrial support technologies.

“We’ve seen firsthand how frontline.io’s technology unlocks technical talent and transforms industrial workflows, boosting confidence, quality, and efficiency,” said Karl Hutter, Click Bond’s Chief Executive Officer. “The platform is powerful, scalable, and intentionally extensible, and it’s reshaping what’s possible in assembling complex equipment and supporting it in the field.”

frontline.io’s cross-platform flexibility is a central differentiator. The system supports mixed-reality formats (AR, VR, MR) and is compatible with a range of hardware, from everyday mobile devices to specialist industrial headsets—reducing barriers to adoption.

According to analysts, the industrial XR market is projected to grow at a CAGR of over 30 percent through the next decade, fuelled by advances in AI, 5G connectivity, and affordable AR/VR hardware. Companies like frontline.io are part of a broader trend rethinking how expertise is captured, shared, and deployed on the shop floor or in the field.
