France-based fintech Aircap has secured €500,000 in fresh funding from business angels, including founders of leading crowdfunding platforms, as well as Bpifrance.

Founded in 2024 by Grégoire Bloch-Escoffier, Adrien Ducreux, and Thomas Kientz, Aircap specialises in investment management and financial flow monitoring for the alternative finance sector. Its open finance platform helps investment professionals actively manage risk exposure across different investment types.

Backed by a founding team with strong private debt experience, Aircap has quickly established itself as France’s leading real estate crowdfunding platform partner, serving over twenty active clients within a year, including seven of the ten largest platforms like ClubFunding, Raizers, and La Première Brique.

Now, Aircap is focused on expanding across Europe, supporting a market increasingly driven by higher standards in transparency, operations, and technology.

Grégoire Bloch-Escoffier, CEO of Aircap, commented:

Following our entry into La Banque Postale’s incubator earlier this year, this fundraising marks a major milestone for Aircap. It validates our innovative approach and the relevance of our solution in addressing the challenges of transparency and risk management in private debt. We’re proud of the trust shown by our investors, who share our vision for a more structured and efficient market.

As the market becomes increasingly pan-European following the implementation of the EU crowdfunding regulation, Aircap aims to become a trusted partner for investment platforms across the continent.

As a pioneer in real estate crowdfunding, the French market was hit particularly hard by the 2022 property market reversal. Aircap now seeks to put this experience to work for the benefit of European platforms, helping to build a more structured and sustainable foundation for the sector.

Thomas Kientz, co-founder of Aircap, added:

The involvement of experienced business angels — including founders of major crowdfunding platforms — highlights the unique value Aircap brings to the market. This round gives us the means to pursue our ambition of becoming the European reference in financial flow management within the private markets, while continuing to innovate for our clients.

With its first clients now onboarded in the UK and Belgium, the company is demonstrating its ability to address local challenges while promoting a shared European vision.

Adrien Ducreux, co-founder of Aircap, explained:

We built Aircap on the conviction that data is the key to better managing private market investments. The funds raised will allow us to accelerate the development of our platform and expand our presence across Europe, delivering ever more powerful tools to a broader audience of professionals managing private investments.

This new funding round will power Aircap’s next stage of growth, as it serves a market evolving toward greater transparency, compliance, and performance standards.

It will also support the company’s European expansion and enable it to extend its offerings to additional private market segments, including private equity and infrastructure.
