Israeli delivery logistics company Bringg has raised a $30 million Series D round led by Viola Growth with participation from existing investors Next47, Salesforce, O.G. Tech Ventures, and GLP.
With Bringg’s Delivery Logistics platform, businesses can manage their entire delivery ecosystem, whether they are using in-house fleets, third party providers, or both. Customers include enterprises and SMBs, and the new funding will help the company scale its team to meet high demand. Speaking to the acceleration brought on by the coronavirus protection measures around the world, CEO Guy Bloch said, “Enterprises we’ve spoken to were always aware that a big market shift was coming, but in a matter of only a few weeks that shift has fully arrived and almost everyone has been caught off guard.” “Today with COVID-19 keeping consumers homebound, delivery is not a business differentiator but a critical logistics model, keeping businesses afloat,” added Matthew Cowan, general partner at Next47.
Since its founding in 2013, the Tel Aviv-based company (with secondary headquarters in Chicago) has raised a total of $83.3 million, including a $25 million Series C round in January 2019.
