London-based marketing personalisation startup DataSine has landed £4 million in a funding round led by Pentech and Propel Venture Partners, with participation from C.Entrepreneurs/Cathay Innovation, Twin Ventures, and Sistema_VC.
DataSine's product is Pomegranate, a SaaS marketing platform that helps brands to personalise their content for different audiences. Its algorithms work with the behavioural data previously collected by the customer, while the content editing system allows tailoring text and images for landing pages, email campaigns, call centre scripts, and other media accordingly. At the moment, Pomegranate integrates with HubSpot and MailChimp, and the company is looking to launch further integrations throughout the year.
“I launched DataSine after moving to London to do a PhD in psychology because I believed that personality can help companies understand their customers as a whole, which empowers them to truly connect with customers through every interaction and move beyond traditional focus of click optimisation,” said DataSine founder and CEO Igor Volzhanin.
