Berlin-based adtech firm Glispa Global Group has acquired Israeli company RelevanTech, a mobile carrier distribution network. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This is Glispa’s fourth acquisition over the past year, following the buyouts of Avocarrot, MoneyTap, and MOBILS.
RelevanTech provides pre-loaded content to mobile carriers, which will provide another avenue for Glispa’s advertising tools to take advantage of. For example its Glispa Audience Platform (GAP) will be will be able to yield results from more data coming from RelevanTech’s network.
“The RelevanTech solution perfectly complements our ad tech suite and offers a new premium distribution channel to our customers, enabling global advertisers to maximize their potential and reach new audiences,” said Itamar Benedy, chief revenue officer at Glispa.
“Our vision is for our app discovery tool to be on every device worldwide,” commented Dekel Boni, CEO of RelevanTech (previously owned by Web-Pick).
Glispa, which has one billion users globally, is continuing to seek more acquisitions and consolidation in the adtech space, added Benedy.
