Italian online wine seller Viniexport has recently secured a €2 million funding round to pursue its international expansion.
The deal has been structured by Spain's Inveready in four different tranches contingent on milestones, as the startup is establishing an office in Barcelona to grow outside its home country.
Founded in 2015, Viniexport provides a centralised platform that enables the HoReCa trade to acquire wine from diverse producers directly, saving its clients time and money while offering convenience.
The company is targeting sales to reach €10 million this year, and is already selling more than 100,000 bottles per month.
