Natterbox, a London-based provider of voice cloud services, has secured £7.5 million in growth equity funding from Octopus Investments, an existing investor from 2018. The telephony software is a phone system that operates within Salesforce, so customer service teams can work efficiently. The UK company touts the service’s flexibility: the “Freedom” interface lets users work on any device, and Natterbox for Remote Workers can set up new users in about 15 minutes.
Founded in 2009, the company raised a £5 million Series A round just two years ago. Since then, Natterbox has opened offices in the US (Chicago) and Australia (Sydney) and doubled its customer portfolio, which includes brands such as Fruit of the Loom and Groupon. “We’re on a big growth trajectory; last year was the best one yet for Natterbox,” said Neil Hammerton, co-founder and CEO of the scale-up. “Our updated product suite, alongside the increased reliance on virtual communication, puts us in an extremely strong position for the years ahead.”
