Belgian CRM solutions company NGDATA has secured $9.4 million in additional funding for its Series B round, which now stands at around $20 million.
The round was led by Idinvest Partners with participation from Pamica, SmartFin Capital, Capricorn Venture Partners, Nausicaa Ventures, and angel investors.
The new funds will be used to boost the company’s global sales strategies, acquisitions, marketing and growing its products like its customer experience operating system Lily Enterprise, which automates large portions of customer management processes. Most of NGDATA’s customers are in the financial, media, and telecoms sectors.
“This funding enables us to continue domestic and international growth, expand our employee base, and further propel our strategic acquisition strategy,” explained CEO Luc Burgelman.
Dominique Illien, CEO of French legal publishers Editions Lefebvre Sarrut, will be joining NGDATA’s board as part of the deal. “NGDATA’s vision for customer centricity is the reason companies worldwide continue to rely on Lily Enterprise to automate and optimize customer interactions,” he said.
NGDATA closed the initial lot of its Series B round in November 2015 at $10.2 million from many of the same investors.
