Portuguese facility management startup Infraspeak raises €1.6 million

Portugal-based modular facility management platform Infraspeak has landed a €1.6 million funding round from firstminute capital, Innovation Nest, Construtech Ventures, 500 Startups, and Caixa Capital. The startup intends to use the funding for international expansion.

Infraspeak's software platform is aimed at hotels, retail locations, as well as other large buildings in need of facility management solutions. It integrates with hardware sensors and NFC tags, allowing the manager to always be aware of any maintenance work that's going on.

The company's client list includes Siemens, Domino’s Pizza, and InterContinental Hotels in 6 different countries, Infraspeak stated in a press release.

Infraspeak's immediate plan is to start an expansion to the United Kingdom, Spain, and France. To support this, the startup currently has 10 open job positions and plans to open more before the end of 2018.
