London-based AI startup ProFinda has raised £4.8 million from investors including Notion Capital, Nextlaw Ventures, and a number of business angels.
ProFinda is a platform that uses an AI-powered engine to help companies and organisations discover and identify internal skills and expertise within their workforce, giving employers an “accurate birds-eye view” of the talent they have on tap.
The latest tranche of funding will help the company move along its product roadmap, said Roger Gorman, CEO of ProFinda (pictured).
“With the new investment, we will strengthen our proposition, refine our technology and ensure we continue to build out our impressive and experienced team,” he said.
The company said its platform can help companies manage an increasingly flexible and remote workforce made up of more and more freelancers and contractors while improving productivity.
Last month, it appointed former IBM director David Kelly as its new chief strategy officer.
