Belgian construction tech company AproPLAN has raised €5 million in Series A financing. The round was led by Fortino Capital with participation from existing investors including Inventures, Matexi, and Showpad founders Pieterjan Bolts, Louis Jonckheere and Peter Minne.

AproPLAN replaces pen and paper for construction professionals with a common platform for contractors, engineers, architects, and clients. The app simplifies the processes of discussing, recording, and reporting for construction projects, and is accessible from smartphones and tablets.

The company will use the new capital to expand its marketing and sales departments, and further develop its app to improve user experience.

"AproPLAN is bringing the same revolution as Salesforce did for sales in the construction sector," says Thomas Goubau, CEO. "Salesforce created the 360 degree view of the customer. We give all parties on the construction site a 360 degree view of all project information across the yard."
