Cubigo raises €4 million for its elderly care services software

Belgian care management software startup Cubigo has raised €4 million that will be invested in its international expansion. The round was led by Urbain Vandeurzen with participation from Transvision.

Cubigo is an online platform for elderly care providers to offer and manage services like meals, home maintenance, and transport.

It’s currently active in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the US. The company plans to hire 25 people in its offices in these regions over the next 18 months.

Last year the company initiated partnerships with KBC and Belgian health insurance fund CM.

Urbain Vandeurzen said in a statement that the investment will assist the company in growing its international business. It has received interest from potential customers in Canada, Switzerland, and Singapore, said cofounder Geert Houben.

Transvision, one of its newest investors, will be an important strategic partner in accessing potential transport customers, added cofounder Peter Willems.
