source{d}, a Madrid-based recruitment startup that’s using AI to find developers, has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round from Kima Ventures, Otium Venture, and Sunstone Capital.
With its new funding in tow, source{d} plans to open several new offices in London, Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam, New York, Boston, and San Francisco. It currently has a presence in Berlin also.
The startup will continue developing and improving its artificial intelligence algorithms said CEO Eiso Kant, which he describes is working with “one of the largest samples of data analysed by AI in the world.”
It analyses the code of more than 6.6 million developers to find the best fit for a company that’s hiring. “source{d} works to get closer to a world where the access to employment for developers is based on the quality of their work instead of unfair and subjective factors,” said COO Jorge Schnura.
source{d} projects revenues of €1 million and growth of its team to 55 people by the end of the year.
Schnura, Kant, and their other cofounder Philip von Have previously founded Tyba, another recruitment platform, that was acquired in April by Denmark’s Graduateland.
