During a recent visit to Berlin, Germany, we had the opportunity to visit and look around in the 'tech HQ' of online retail powerhouse Zalando.
The company is surprisingly technology-heavy, with close to 500 people working for 'Zalando Tech' at the moment, and ambitions to hire another 500 engineers and product managers by the end of this year.
We caught up with Zalando's chief product officer, Christoph Lange, and chief information officer Philipp Erler, to learn more about the tech behind all the fast growth, and what that means in terms of scaling.
