Swedish gaming studio Toca Boca is up for sale for up to $100 million by owner Bonnier: reports

Di Digital, the Swedish technology blog owned by Bonnier Media Group, are reporting that their parent company are set to sell Toca Boca, a Stockholm-based gaming studio that makes 'non-competitive' games aimed at children, following the reported hiring of an small American investment bank to find a suitable buyer for the company.

Di Digital report that the price could be in the ball-park of $50-$100 million, although that seems a little low to us, considering their games have had more than 70 million downloads, and their net sales in 2014 grew 28% to just short of the $10 million mark.

**Update:** the reports claim a potential price of 500 million to 1 billion SEK ($59 million - $118 million).

Regardless of what the price will ultimately be, it certainly appears that efforts have begun to find an acquirer.
