Finnish BioMensio Ltd. has raised €2.5 million from VTT Ventures, Siemens Technology Accelerator and Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.
The investment will go toward the development of its smart handheld bio-screening sensor that determines the presence of specific biomolecules.
BioMensio's sensor has applications for businesses and governmental organizations in food and beverage, healthcare, security and defense sectors as well as for environmental monitoring.
