Israeli digital marketing company WhiteSmoke has acquired Israeli adtech company Wise Data Media. The acquisition is part of WhiteSmoke’s strategy to expand its operations in video advertising. A subsidiary of WhiteSmoke will pay $750,000 in cash for the company, and a further $4.55 million linked to performance over the next three years.
Wise Data Media has developed a technological solution that streamlines the process of buying video advertising through an automatic bidding system. It also offers information collection and analysis, and monetization solutions for video advertising. The company expects to generate $63.5 million in revenue over the next three years.
Wise Data Media Corporation was founded in 2012 by CEO Tomer Sade, and as part of the acquisition Sade and 16 employees will join WhiteSmoke's Israel office.
