The French workspace management startup Connected Space Management (CSM) has raised €2 million from Bpifrance and private investors.

CSM has developed a solution called Transform Together, which captures and analyzes all data relating to the use of workspaces. By digitizing all the rooms of a building, CSM offers the opportunity for companies to rethink their workspaces according to their needs.

Transform Together uses connected objects to capture information, a low-speed network to circulate it, a data platform for processing and storage, and applications to restructure and utilise this data. Through this process, the solution enables companies to have a cross-sectional view of the use of their workspaces and redevelop them accordingly.

CSM says it will use the new funding to invest in R&D to design new products and applications. The company also plans to expand in France, as well as in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain this summer.

"Today, companies must move from static management of their buildings to innovative and agile use of the working environment. To meet these challenges, we have developed a unique solution at the crossroads of IoT and Big Data," says Jérôme Duc, co-founder of CSM, as reported by FrenchWeb.
