Catalan martech company Whisbi Technologies has raised €1 million from the Capital Expansion Fund of the Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF).
Whisbi Technologes digitises the sales processes of companies by providing a "conversational commerce solution". Their product allows companies to engage with customers through video and chat, and to host webinars and live events.
According to the ICF, the fund has made the investment through a convertible participatory loan to boost the internationalisation and growth of the company, especially in the North American market.
Whisbi is already used by several major brands including Toyota, Nissan, Ford, GM, Vodafone, and Media Markt.
The startup was created in 2008 and has its headquarters and R&D center in Barcelona, with a commercial office in Madrid and subsidiaries in Brazil and the United States, where it expects to grow significantly in the coming months.
