Hxperience raises €1.4 million to make buildings smarter with IoT and analytics

Hxperience has raised €1.4 million in funding led Axeleo Capital, the enterprise software investment fund from startup accelerator from Axeleo, with participation from angel investors from the AngelSquare community.

The Paris-based company is developing a smart building platform called SMATI. The software utilises IoT devices and predictive analytics to collect and analyse data around a building to optimise operational costs.

“We are planning to use the money to reinforce our sales and data scientist resources,” said a spokesperson in a statement. “Our objectives are to accelerate our business development plan both in France and abroad on one hand, and to enrich our product analytics features (in the areas of predictive maintenance and usage analysis) on the other hand.”

Hxperience was founded in 2015 by former Nokia executives Patrick Fichou and Claude Favreau.
