Listen up! Here's your guide to European tech and startup podcasts in English

Podcasting has seen significant growth in popularity over the past couple of years, both from listeners and people launching new shows. It's never been easier to start a podcast (with an obligatory newsletter to come with it if you want to be in trend). However, podcast discovery seems to never have caught up: it's harder to find interesting show than it may seem, especially if you want to go beyond the usual suspects like Gimlet, NPR, the BBC, and so on.

This humble podcast directory is an attempt to improve the discoverability of new deserving shows at least in the European tech startup industry. I've been interested in both the tech scene and podcasting for many years, long before I started hosting the tech.eu Podcast. And yet, I wasn't familiar with at least half of the shows listed in this piece before I started working on it. So, kudos to everyone who recommended their favourite shows on Twitter and LinkedIn; please do keep them coming through this form — I'll update this list regularly to add new shows.

Unsurprisingly, many good shows on the topic come from the UK, which is why I put them all into a separate list down below. There's also a bunch of good podcasts that have been either discontinued or paused — those are also listed separately towards the end. All lists are presented in alphabetical order.

If you'd like to subscribe to all shows featured in this guide, download these OPML files and import them into your podcast app of choice: Mainland Europe and Ireland, The UK. I'll update the OPML files every time I add new shows to this guide.

Latest update: December 2, 2020.
