Aalst, Belgium-based graphic creation software company CHILI publish has scored €3 million in a new funding round to boost the development of its products, and to expand into the US.
New investor PMV led the round, with prior backers Group MC, Pamica, and Volta Ventures participating.
The SaaS company, which was founded in 2010, offers a browser-based editing software suite called CHILI publisher that turns original graphic design work into what it calls 'Smart Templates'. This enables visual creators to develop graphics for print, social media, online campaigns, packaging etc. whilst safeguarding brand guidelines.
Kevin Goeminne, CHILI publish's CEO, said: "Over the last 12 months, we managed to make Smart Templatization dynamic and available as a SaaS. We grew our team, established new partnerships, and expanded our customer base worldwide. The future of graphics is booming and now is the time to move better and faster in the US. This latest funding, led by PMV, will speed up our market outreach in the US, and propel our solution development roadmap."
The company says CHILI publisher is adopted worldwide by both major and niche brands in marketing, retail, cosmetics, food & beverage, and other verticals.
It also integrates with an extensive ecosystem of third-party partners.
