EIC Fund has confirmed making €331 million in investments since November, across 42 early stage deals in total.

The vehicle aligned to the EIC Accelerator programme has completed 77 investment approvals since an external fund manager was appointed in September. In that time, final agreements with a total of 13 companies have been signed.

The deals will pour north of €521 million from the Horizon Europe initiative into emerging deep tech innovations, such as computer vision for orthopaedic surgery and the "first" miniaturised gas analyser for renewable gases.

EIC Fund typically invests €5 - 15 million per company. This money complements EU grant money available to EIC Accelerator participants, with grant awards ranging up to €2.5 million.
