Swiss SaaS workplace management company deskbird is planning further expansion across Europe, and says it will be targeting other markets including the US, following a $13 million fundraise. The Series A funding comes from ALSTIN Capital and AVP (AXA Venture Partners) and includes existing investors, such as session.vc, Rivus Capital, and PortfoLion. This injection of capital follows a successful $5 million fundraise in 2022.

"We are thrilled to have found these two new investors who want to join us on our journey and help us become the global market leader in our fast-growing category. We believe that in 10 years, deskbird will be to workplace management what Salesforce is to CRM," says deskbird founders Ivan Cossu, CEO, and Jonas Hess, CPO.

Enhancing its offering, deskbird will be introducing ‘more AI-based features for users and administration’ to its workplace management solution for hybrid businesses. The new features will give a better understanding to why employees come to the office and will ‘increase workplace satisfaction, and achieve savings’ with information on how to make better use of the workplace.

"With the smart software solution from deskbird, the question "Who sits where in the office?" is no longer relevant. Hybrid workplaces can be organised quickly, making flexible working even easier. A great new-work start-up that allows both companies and their employees to benefit to the maximum," says Carsten Maschmeyer from ALSTIN Capital.
