Swedish fintech Invoier’s platform provides an AI-based real-time marketplace for SMEs looking for short-term loans and invoice financing.
"Invoier's partnership with the EIF is a transformative moment for SMEs and for the efforts being made to create financial sustainability and factoring in Europe. Together, we are reshaping the financial landscape and ensuring that SMEs have the resources they need to thrive and contribute to a more sustainable future," says Fredrik Mistander, CEO and co-founder of Invoier.
The InvestEU programme plans to mobilise more than €372 billion in additional investment over the period 2021-2027 for EU policy priorities.
"Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of the European economy. I am very happy that InvestEU, with today's agreement, will contribute to giving more Swedish companies the financing they need to be able to take the next step in the digitalization of their operations, in support of sustainable growth and employment," says EU commissioner responsible for the economy, Paolo Gentiloni.
