Netherlands-based AI startup Wonderful raises $550M at $5BN valuation

Wonderful, the Netherlands-based startup that provides AI services to help companies boost productivity, has raised around $550 million at a $5 billion valuation, it said today.

The Series C funding round was led by existing investor Insight Partners, with participation from new investor Salesforce and other existing investors Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners.

The new funding follows just six months after it raised around $150m at a $2bn valuation. Wonderful has raised more than $800m in total.

The startup, which was founded in Israel but is now headquartered in Amsterdam, said it would use the capital to improve its product and go on a hiring spree.

Wonderful said: "In 20 months since launch, we're in production with hundreds of agents, systems, and workflows across a dozen verticals in over 30 markets.

“With this new capital, we’ll be over-delivering for our customers, hiring hundreds of cracked engineers, FDEs, and former founders, and expanding our product capabilities across the entire enterprise."

Wonderful helps companies automate work by leveraging AI. Its AI platform, including AI agents, AI applications and forward-deployed engineers, helps companies transform customer, employee and back-office workflows. It operates in more than 35 markets with around 650 employees.
